Spartan Lauren Collis makes the Code First:Girls 30 under 30 list!

Spartan Consultant Lauren Collis has been named as one to watch in Code First: Girls’ ‘30 under 30’ list for 2018!

Now in its fourth year, the annual compilation recognises the most ambitious and exciting young women developing their careers in technology today.

After making the decision to move from primary teaching to tech in 2016, Lauren is now a cross functional consultant working at Canada Life. She has been responsible for helping to introduce agile solutions and processes into the company and now regularly runs workshops and training sessions to help upskill those around her.

Founded in 2013, Code First: Girls is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose sole aim is to increase the number of women working, and holding high-profile positions, within technology companies.

With recent research by Tech City UK finding that Britain will need an additional one million tech workers by 2020 to meet market demand, Sparta Global wants to encourage more women like Lauren to consider a career in tech. By working closely with Code First: Girls and Tech Charter UK to drive diversity in tech teams we are committed to making a change.
