On 25th November, Sparta Global will be holding a charity hackathon; in memory of Andrew Otero, one of our Spartan Consultants who sadly passed away this year.

Multi-level technologists will compete in teams to create the best piece of technology possible, that will support our charity partner  the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM); to develop their online services for men in crisis or in need of support.

This event will provide an opportunity to give back to those in need using the technology skills learned either within the Sparta Global Academy, or through experience of working on tech projects within industry.

It will be a great opportunity for Software Developers to build their network of like-minded technologists from different industries, and share ideas to continue learning and improving technology skills.

It will be a fun day to celebrate the power of technology and the impact that it can have on people's lives for a good cause, with pizza + beer provided by Sparta Global.

The event will be held within the IG London offices, in the city.

Please come along for a great day. For more information and to get your FREE ticket please click here.

Although you might not have been effected by mental health issues personally, you may know someone who is suffering, who you could help. If you are unsure of the signs of depression or somebody who is suicidal please read this article on the Calm Zone website - because you might just be able to help someone get the help that they need.
