Nic Day is Chief Financial Officer at Sparta Global, responsible for the financial health of the company and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. In addition to his financial oversight, Nic leads Sparta Global’s IT function, overseeing the development of the internal IT roadmap and ensuring that systems, infrastructure, and ERP capabilities effectively support growth, operational efficiency, and future initiatives.

A qualified chartered accountant with 25 years of experience, Nic has worked extensively in professional services, with a background in statutory audit and corporate finance. Over his career, he has successfully guided Sparta Global through two private equity transactions, including navigating the complexities of the business during the pandemic, demonstrating both strategic insight and operational resilience.

Nic fosters a culture of collaboration, trust, and autonomy within his teams, encouraging diverse perspectives, innovative thinking, and constructive challenge. Highly committed to building high-performing, motivated teams, he ensures that financial and operational strategies align with the company’s long-term goals. Outside of work, Nic is family-oriented and enjoys swimming and keeping fit in his spare time.
