Nick Mayo

Nick Mayo is the Director of Sparta Global’s Financial Services vertical, overseeing client relationships and delivery across wholesale, commercial, retail, and investment banking. With nearly 20 years of experience in technology staffing – primarily within financial services – he brings a strong technical understanding of the sector and the commercial challenges institutions face.

Across his 11 years at Sparta Global, Nick has helped shape the organisation’s growth both in the UK and internationally. He has been directly involved in driving expansion into France, Sweden, and India, working closely with customers to grow their footprints abroad while supporting Sparta Global’s own global development. Through this work, he has gained valuable insight into varied working cultures, hiring processes, expectations, and international employment law. Nick has also secured and developed several of Sparta Global’s key financial services partnerships, including bringing on the company’s first banking client and rapidly scaling one of its largest accounts from 0 to 55 consultants in just 12 months.
