Purnima Sen

Chief Operating Officer

Purnima Sen (BA, MA, MBA) is the Chief Operating Officer at Sparta Global, where she has spent more than eight years shaping the organisation’s culture, operational excellence, and social impact agenda. Drawing on 30 years of experience across large global corporations, she oversees HR, talent, training, compliance, and UK operations, building an environment that prioritises capability, inclusion, and long-term organisational strength.

Purnima’s work has been widely recognised across the industry, reflecting her long-standing commitment to fair access, social equity, and creating career routes that empower those often excluded from the digital economy. She has contributed to national conversations on inclusion and business practice, including a round-table at 10 Downing Street, and she has been awarded a Fellowship of the City & Guilds for her impact on workforce development and social mobility. Alongside her executive role, Purnima serves as a governor at Chigwell School, where she leads people and education strategy. She also sits on the board of Women Pivoting into Tech, a City-backed initiative supporting women entering technology careers. Her career is defined by a consistent focus on representation, capability-building, and creating pathways that enable people to thrive in work and beyond.

A proud Asian woman and mother of three, Purnima brings authenticity, representation, and purpose to every space she leads. She is passionate about building environments where people grow not just as technical professionals, but as confident, future-ready leaders.
