Sparta Global named as finalist for Santander Technology Business of the Year

LONDON, 11th, August 2020: Sparta Global: a technology services company focussed on attracting, training and delivering the UK’s top business and technology professionals, has today been announced as a finalist at the 2020 Growing Business Awards for the Sandander Technology Business of the Year. The awards are the most credible and highly valued recognition of exceptional growing businesses, bringing together and honouring some of the UK’s most outstanding entrepreneurs and teams.

Celebrating businesses that have used technology solutions to disrupt an existing market, the Santander Technology Business of the Year accolade recognises business that use AI, robotics, CRM or automation to grow their business and effect change.

Founded in 2014 to bridge the digital skills gap in the UK, Sparta Global has since:

  • Trained more than 2000 ‘Spartan’ consultants
  • Established partnerships with close to 60 organisations in almost every sector
  • April 2019: opened a brand-new Head Office and training Academy in London – a collaborative space located in 125 London Wall which has doubled training capacity
  • October 2019: opened its refurbished Birmingham Academy – again increasing training capability and growing its regional team to support its offering in the Midlands

The Growing Business Awards announcement comes four months after Sparta Global was named Employer winner at the 2020 Technology Playmaker Awards in partnership with Booking.com. The award recognised Sparta Global’s commitment to advancing the diversity agenda internally and working with clients to foster more diverse hiring across the IT and technology industry.
