March Spartan of the Month: Maheeta Venkatswamy

What and where did you study at university? Or did you not study at university at all?

I studied MSc Data Networks and Security at Birmingham City University.

Where did you train with Sparta Global and which course did you study?

I trained remotely on the Business Analysis pathway.

How did you find your training at the Academy and how did your training prepare you for work?

The Academy provided a structured learning environment, which kept me focused and motivated throughout the training. I’d love to give a special mention to my trainer for his professionalism and expert guidance which supported my transition to client site. The small class size meant we received individual support, especially when it came to interview practice. Overall, the training at Sparta has provided me with an excellent foundation to build a successful career in the field of Business Analysis.

Can you tell us a bit about the connections you have built through Sparta? How have you found the community to be?

There is an amazing Spartan community at my client site. We have regular catchups where we can discuss any concerns and share experiences. It is nice to have that assurance and friendly Spartans around.

What is your current position and with what company?

I am working as a Business Analyst at a large public sector organisation.

Tell us a little bit about your day-to-day role. What do you get stuck into?

As a Business Change Analyst, I am working on a couple of interesting tasks. Currently, I am involved in stakeholder analysis and management, identifying the as-is customer journey, and managing the benefits.

How did it feel to be named Spartan of the Month?

It feels truly amazing to be named Spartan of the Month. It is fulfilling when you are recognised for all the hard work and dedication. This has boosted my self-esteem, confidence, and motivation. Overall, I feel the work that I am doing is being valued and appreciated, which will drive me to achieve even greater accomplishments in the future.

Would you recommend Sparta to other graduates and if so – why?

I already have recommended Sparta to other people. Sparta Global’s excellent training helps people build their careers, providing them with practical knowledge which supports them in future roles.
