The uncertainty of the past 24 months has hurt all of us, but the pressure, the ambiguity and the lack of career opportunities brought on by Covid-19 has affected emerging talent the most. The impact was systemic, deep and disproportionate.
In 2021, Sparta Global surveyed more than 160 individuals from organisations across almost every industry sector – from CEOs and CTOs to junior hiring professionals - UK Universities, community partners and graduate groups. With these insights, we have pulled together a report that shines a light on what can be learned from our shared experience and how we can better prioritise the people who will be transforming our businesses, communities and society in the future.
We are passionate about using training programmes and employer networks to help diverse groups access opportunities that are otherwise unattainable, but there is still more to be done. We ask you to take this report, share and use it to advocate for those from under-served backgrounds by progressing conversations around social mobility.
