STEM & Non-STEM Students

Our University Engagement Team proactively reaches out to build relationships with a wide range of universities and a diverse range of under-graduates; both on STEM and non-STEM courses.

As a large employer of UK graduates, our aim is to collaborate with each University personally to create a tailored strategy to help students bridge the gap between graduation and employment. We engage using a variety of activities including;

Careers Fair

Supporting large-scale events to educate and attract prospective graduates

In-Lecture Presentations

A great way to detail the benefits of a career in IT and the Sparta Global programme to a select group of students

In-Curriculum Sessions

An opportunity for our industry experts to come into a lecture to teach particular areas of a module including case study

Networking Events

A chance for students to interact with industry professionals

Employer in the Foyer

A more casual pop-up approach where students can talk to us in an informal way about their career aspirations in IT

Skills Sessions

Our trainers can come onto campus to deliver various sessions in-line with the existing curriculum and outside of core study times

Industry Insight Days

An opportunity for students to shadow members of our team.

Mentoring Schemes

Guiding and teaching students core skills required to get a job after graduation as well as providing industry insight

Our Brand Ambassador Programme

Our fantastic Brand Ambassadors play a pivotal role in raising our brand awareness onsite with our university partners and provide fellow students with a memorable face-to-face experience of the Sparta Global business. Our programme provides a flexible and rewarding experience where individuals are able to arrange activities around their university study and social lives. To be a successful brand ambassador individuals require commitment, creativity and an ability to build relationships in person or over social media.

Sparta global have worked closely with KU talent (the careers service) and academic staff at Kingston university to both develop and recruit our students. This has been achieved through the delivery of sessions both inside and outside of the curriculum which has increased student’s technical skills and given them an understanding of how knowledge gained at university can be used in a professional environment. Sparta Global’s flexibility and desire to support the needs of Kingston students has resulted in a mutually beneficial and productive relationship.

Jonathan EastwoodEmployability Consultant, Kingston University

Our partnership with Sparta Global has been tremendously rewarding particularly for our high-calibre computing graduates. Sparta Global works closely with the UEL Career’s & Student Employability service to provide a gateway for the top graduates to pursue a specialist career within IT. We are delighted to be working with Sparta Global and look forward to the New Year and building on the success achieved thus far.

Maribeth AkinuliEmployer Engagement Officer, University of East London

Working with Sparta Global this year has been absolutely fantastic. It is a real pleasure to work with such a proactive and professional employer and dealing with them has made the process a real pleasure. One of the highlights of this year was the brilliant advice that Sparta Global provided to Greenwich students at our ‘Speed Interviews’ evening in February. University of Greenwich students benefitted enormously from their industry insights and we are very grateful for their support. I’m looking forward to working on more activities with Sparta Global in the future, they have been a real hit with our students.
